Assignment Objectives:
In collaboration with SPC Management and MAVIM, this role offers a unique opportunity to serve as a full-time District Project Consultant. The position is based in Rural District offices across Maharashtra, with an initial tenure of 24 months, subject to extension based on performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Essential: Graduate in BSc Agriculture/ Horticulture/ B.Tech – Agri.
- Preferred: Post-graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Financing.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in Government, semi-government, private sector, NGO – MFI, or rural development projects. Prior experience with MAVIM and 1-2 years in value chain implementation projects are advantageous.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Identify potential areas for value chain development (farm/non-farm) within the district.
- Support and develop standalone businesses and skill-building initiatives.
- Assist in designing value chain projects in collaboration with District and CMRCs.
- Monitor and manage Value Chain projects, ensuring alignment with goals and objectives.
- Prepare detailed progress reports and liaise with private sector partners involved in district Value Chains.
Consultancy Fees:
A competitive monthly fee of up to Rs.40,000, subject to applicable service tax deductions.
